Curriculum vitae Italiano Lynn Mastellotto ha conseguito un dottorato di ricerca in inglese presso l'University of East Anglia (Norwich, Regno Unito) nel 2014, una laurea magistrale in inglese presso la McGill University (Montreal, Canada) nel 2002, un master nella didattica dell’inglese lingua straniera presso Oxford University (Oxford, Regno Unito) nel 1998 e una laurea in inglese e studi di genere presso la McGill University nel 1992 (Montreal, Canada). È stata ricercatrice (RTD/A) alla Libera Università di Bolzano (2017-2020, 2020-2023) nell’ambito dell’acquisizione linguistica e dell’educazione linguistica (inglese LS) con particolare riferimento alla formazione docenti per contesti educativi plurilingui, multiculturali e inclusivi. Ha guidato e partecipato a tre progetti europei sull'acquisizione linguistica in contesti plurilingue e multiculturali e a diversi progetti di ricerca-azione in ambito scolastico per indagare l'efficacia del discorso degli insegnanti in classe e fornire feedback formativi per sostenere la loro formazione professionale al fine di potenziare l'apprendimento linguistico L2 degli studenti.
Curriculum vitae Inglese Lynn Mastellotto received a Ph.D in English from the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK) in 2014, a Master's degree in English from McGill University (Montreal, Canada) in 2002, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in teaching English as a foreign language from Oxford University (Oxford, UK) in 1998, and a Bachelor's degree in English and gender studies from McGill University in 1992 (Montreal, Canada). She was a researcher (RTD/A) at the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano (2017-2020, 2020-2023) in the area of language acquisition and language education (English FL) with a focus on teacher training for multilingual, multicultural and inclusive educational settings. She has led and been involved in three European projects on language acquisition in multilingual and multicultural contexts and several action research projects in educational settings to investigate the effectiveness of teachers' classroom discourse and provide formative feedback to support their professional training in order to enhance students' L2 learning.
Linee di ricerca L'educazione linguistica, l'analisi narrativa e gli studi (inter)culturali informano un approccio interdisciplinare alla ricerca sulla lingua inglese e le sue variazioni, con un interesse generale per il modo in cui idee e parole attraversano i confini geografici, linguistici, culturali e disciplinari. I principali filoni di ricerca comprendono l'analisi del discorso nelle interazioni in contesti di apprendimento dell’inglese lingua straniera (EFL, EMI e CLIL), la comunicazione multimodale, il discorso narrativo e l'analisi intermedia.

European Commission (EACEA) Erasmus+ KA 2-3 “Diversity in Action (DivA) – a cross-border online space for training teachers through multilingual and multicultural experiences” (2022– 2025). The DivA project aims to offer in-service and pre-service teachers the opportunity to experience "diversity in action", facilitating their development of multilingual and intercultural competences through various models of transnational cooperation and teacher exchange, both in presence and virtually. The project sought to develop innovative processes and methods in teaching in multilingual universities and multilingual schools in European border areas characterised by multilingualism and multiculturalism. The PALM project created a virtual learning space for multilingual communication and exchange through a learner corpus of over 4000 authentic texts produced by young speakers of English, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Ladin and Spanish.
