Federica Brachini si è laureata con lode in Lettere moderne presso l'Università di Pisa (a.a 2017/2018) e in Scienze Linguistiche e Comunicazione Interculturale presso l'Università per Stranieri di Siena (a.a. 2019/2020). Nel 2020 ha svolto un tirocinio presso il Centro di ricerca e redazione del LEI (Lessico Etimologico Italiano) presso l'Università di Mannheim. Da giugno 2021 collabora al progetto "Edizione nazionale del Compendio delle traduzioni italiane nel mondo - ENTRADIT" (https://entradit.it). Da ottobre 2021 è tutor dei corsi di “Glottologia e linguistica” e di “Laboratorio di tecniche di scrittura e linguaggi di giornalismo” presso l’Università Telematica degli Studi IUL di Firenze. Da febbraio 2022 è dottoranda in Linguistica storica, Linguistica educativa e Italianistica presso l’Università per Stranieri di Siena con un progetto su tematiche “green” (PON – Ricerca e Innovazione 2014-2020). I suoi interessi di ricerca riguardano principalmente la linguistica educativa, la linguistica migratoria e la semiotica.

Federica Brachini graduated with highest honours with a BA in Arts and Letters from the University of Pisa (a.y. 2017/2018) and with a MA in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication from the University for Foreigners of Siena (a.y. 2019/2020). She completed an internship at the research and redaction center of the LEI (Lessico Etimologico Italiano - Italian Etymological Dictionary) at the University of Mannheim in 2020. Since June 2021 she has collaborated in the project "National Edition of the Compendium of the translations of Italian works in the world – ENTRADIT" (https://entradit.it). Since October 2021 she has been tutor of the "Glottology and linguistics" and "Workshop on writing techniques and language of journalism" courses at the IUL University of Florence. She is currently a PhD student in Historical Linguistics, Educational Linguistics and Italian Studies at the University for Foreigners of Siena focusing on “green” topics (PON – Research and Innovation 2014-2020). Her research interests include Educational Linguistics, Migration Linguistics and Semiotics.
