Curriculum vitae Italiano
Imsuk Jung è ricercatrice universitaria (RTD-B tenure-track) in Lingua e letteratura coreana (L-OR/22). Da maggio 2021 è in possesso dell’Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale alle funzioni di professore di seconda fascia per il settore concorsuale 10/N3 Coreanistica. Ha compiuto i propri studi presso l’Hankuk University of Foreign Studies nel 2000 e l’Università per Stranieri di Siena dove si è laureata nel 2006 e ha conseguito il titolo di dottorato in Linguistica e Didattica nel 2011. Le sue ricerche sono incentrate sulla didattica L2 e sulla linguistica coreana nell’ambito di analisi contrastive. Dal 2010 al 2017 è stata docente del corso di Lingua e Filologia coreana presso l’Università di Roma La Sapienza e di Lingua e letteratura coreana presso l'Università di Venezia Ca' Foscari. E' stata co-ricercatrice (2013-2016) di un progetto di ricerca promosso dall’Academy of Korean Studies (Incubazione di Studi Coreani in Italia) ed è l’autrice del Dizionario IT/KO di recentissima pubblicazione (Hoepli 2017). Dal 2017 è responsabile del corso di Lingua e letteratura coreana presso l’Università per Stranieri di Siena e dal 2020 è referente del Doppio titolo di laurea magistrale avviato con il Dipartimento di Studi Coreani e il Dipartimento di Didattica delle lingua coreana della Busan University of Foreign Studies (BUFS). Dal 2020 è referente del progetto 'Asian Community and Europe', promosso dalla Eurasia Foundation (from Asia) e del progetto 'Establishment of Professorship of Korean studies', promosso dalla Korea Foundation. Dal 2021 è referente dei progetti 'Online Sejong Hakdang' e 'Global KF e-school' in collaborazione con BUFS. Dal 2022 è coordinatrice tecnico-scientifica del centro CLASS e dal 2023 dirige il Centro di Ricerche e Studi Coreani "Yun Dongju" (CeSK).

Imsuk Jung is currently a Senior Reseracher of Korean language and literature (tenure-track) since 2021 and holds a Ph.D in Linguistic and Italian language teaching for foreign students (XXIV cycle) from University for Foreigners of Siena. In 2021 she obtained the National Scientific Qualification to function as associate professor. She completed the KLTTP (Korean Language Teachers Training Program) from LEI (Language Education Institute), Seoul National University. She also holds MA Degree in Linguistic Science for the Intercultural Communication (2008), BA Degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation from University for Foreigners of Siena (2004) and Degree BA in Italian Language and Literature from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), Rep. of Korea. She was a visiting Professor of Korean Literature and Korean Language, University of Venice Ca' Foscari and the Visiting professor of Korean Philology and Literature, AKS (Academy of Korean Studies), University of Rome La Sapienza from 2010 to 2017. Since 2017 she has been in charge of the Korean Language and Literature course at the University for Foreigners of Siena and since 2020 she is the referent for the Double Master's Degree launched with the Department of Korean Studies and the Department of Korean Language Education of the Busan University of Foreign Studies (BUFS). Since 2020 she is the project director of 'Asian Community and Europe', promoted by the Eurasia Foundation (from Asia) and of the 'Establishment of Professorship of Korean studies', promoted by the Korea Foundation. Since 2021 she is the referent for the 'Online Sejong Hakdang' and 'Global KF e-school' in collaboration with BUFS. Since 2022 she is the technical-scientific coordinator of the CLASS center and she is currently the director of Center of Korean Research and Studies "Yun Dongju" (CeSK).
